Studypool is an online platform that connects students with questions with tutors who can answer them. Using Studypool gives you access to thousands of verified tutors to help you with any question at any time.

Stuck on a frustrating question? Our tutors have you covered!

Step 1

Sign up and post your academic question. Set a time limit and price range. Choose to make the post anonymous if you do not want your username to be seen. You have the option to make the question private. If you’re in a time crunch, select “study emergency.”

Receive bids from verified tutors who want to help you. You have the option to select a tutor by comparing reviews, statistics, and profiles or have Studypool automatch you based on who our moderators think would provide the best answer.

Sit back and relax while your tutor provides you with a thorough answer to your question. Use the messenger feature if you’re looking to have a collaborative experience or need to further explanation on a question. You only pay if you are satisfied with their services.

Payment

For your convenience, Studypool accepts payments via credit and debit cards as well as several digital wallets.

Studypool charges students for their question only after they select a tutor to work with or after choosing to be auto-matched to a tutor. Tutors are not paid until the student has reviewed the question or 72 hours after the time limit has passed, so if you’e not satisfied with an answer, you can always request a refund.

QUALITY HELP

All tutors on our platform go through a strict background check to verify their education and authenticity. As we put a high emphasis on quality, tutors who do not perform up to a certain standard will be removed from the site.

*Private questions are hidden from web browsers to the best of our ability. On very rare occasions, private questions, due to technical bugs, can get indexed and we need to manually remove them. Please reach out to us at contact@studypool.com if you believe your private question has been indexed.

Service Fees

Note that for some transactions, Studypool charges a service fee. This service fee is to cover operational costs of running the platform. See Terms for more information including service fee rates.

Quick Questions

Unlike our tutoring Q&A where you can set a time limit and budget and choose a tutor, Quick Questions are answered in real time by one of Studypool’s Top Tutors or Rising Stars. Quick Questions must be simple enough that they can be answered in a few sentences and within a few minutes. You must subscribe to our Quick Question feature in order to use it.
