Summary of Fahrenthold’s investigation
In his book, the "Uncovering Trump: The Truth Behind Donald Trump's Charitable
Giving’’, Fahrenthold sought to unmask the hypocrisy behind Donald Trump's Charitable giving
events (Fahrenthold, 2017). His investigation also sought to expose how Trump had used money
from Trump Foundation to purchase portraits which were hung in his personal businesses
somethings that was unlawful. Further, Fahrenthold also sought to expose how the Trump
Foundation, had exaggerated having made donations higher than what it made. Conclusively, the
author also investigates how Trump, through the Trump Foundation, had paid for portraits
instead falsified that it had actually donated to the artists of these portraits (Fahrenthold, 2017).
