This chapter is all about power systems. The author in this chapter focuses on the
structure of modern power system, from the low voltage distribution networks to the high
voltage transmission system. From this chapter, I have absolutely learnt about the following
fundamental topics: three-phase system of AC voltages, low voltage distribution, examples of
distribution transformers, practical magnitude limits for LV loads, medium voltage network,
transmission and sub-transmission networks, and generation of electrical energy. Therefore,
