The Woman in the Window
A. J. Finn
Contributed by Eleanor Sherer
Chapter 34
Summary

Anna stumbles and falls several times as she walks outside. As she goes to save Jane, she recalls of a case in which one of her patients had developed a kindness to strangers. Just like the patient, Anna was going to save a woman that she barely knew well. She remains determined to reach the Russells’ house to rescue Jane. She is motivated by the Hippocratic oath that requires her to promote the well-being of other people. As she struggles to get to the street, the ambulance arrives.
