In the past religion seemed to unite people and enhanced the belief in oneness among the people sharing the same religion. However, today the chapter notes that religion is a source disunion, discrimination, and disagreements. Also, in the history of religion, Buddhism and Islam are the best known. Generally, the chapter discusses religion, its history and how its controversies today.

Analysis

Critically, the law of religion chapter serves to remind mankind the morals, laws, rules and regulations deep-seated in religion. Each religion, Christianity or Islam has its own beliefs, and laws that its members are obliged to strictly observe.
