Communication is an important part of an organization. This is how information is
received and disseminated. It helps the organization in achieving overall success. However, there
might be some problems related to communication in an organization. This paper is going to
focus on workplace communication problems and how they can be solved. The workplace
communication problem that this paper is going to focus on is ego and attitude. Ego and attitude
have been a common problem in the workplace today. This happens when one worker wants to
be above the others. They want to take up space including discussions and end up walking all
over the others. They do not take other people's opinions into considerations and are always all
about themselves. In most team works and organizations, this becomes a recipe for failure. Many
projects have not succeeded as a result of ego and attitude.
The communication theory that applies, in this case, is the social learning theory. Social
learning theory states that people learn from their interactions with each other. Hence, human
